One Terp Stays, One Terp Goes: Maryland juniors Ekene Ibekwe and D.J. Strawberry both planned to at least test the NBA Draft process to evaluate their stock and possibly remain in the draft. But only Ibekwe managed to submit the proper paperwork in time. Neither player is on NBA scouts’ radar. It remains unclear if Strawberry changed his mind about entering the draft or simply didn’t get his act together. He averaged 10.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game last season. Ibekwe averaged 11.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Losing either player would significantly weaken Maryland’s starting lineup. [5/04/06]
