Marshall Added to Great Alaskan Shootout: Marshall coach Ron Jirsa announced that his team will take part in the 2006 Great Alaskan Shootout this winter in Anchorage, Alaska. The Herd will join host Alaska-Anchorage, California, Hofstra, Loyola Marymount, the University of Missouri-Kansas City and two yet-to-be-determined teams. The tournament will take place Nov. 22-25. It will be Marshall’s first trip to the annual tournament, and it will be the Herd’s first appearance in an exempt tournament since 2001 when Marshall
