Former Aggie Standout Dies: Utah State lost a member of its first NCAA Tournament team when Calvin Agricola died May 24. Agricola, 88, played for the Aggies in the late 1930s. A talented guard, he earned a spot among the All-American Honorable Mentions. He helped the Aggies reach the first NCAA Tournament in 1939. Agricola volunteered as an official at the high school and collegiate levels later and was inducted into the Utah Sports Hall of Fame in 2004. [6/07/06]
