Vanderbilt: Rice Reunites With Stallings

Rice Reunites With Stallings: King Rice will return to the sidelines with Kevin Stallings. Stallings, Vanderbilt’s coach, hired Rice as an assistant coach to replace Jeff Jackson, who left the Commodores to become Furman’s head coach. Rice and Stallings worked together at Illinois State from 1994 to 1998 when they led the Redbirds to four consecutive post-season appearances, including two NCAA Tournament bids. Rice attended North Carolina from 1988 to 1991 where he played point guard for Dean Smith. [6/07/06]
