Lowe Completes Wolfpack Staff: New N.C. State head coach Sidney Lowe completed his coaching staff by hiring former Coastal Carolina coach Pete Strickland and re-hiring former N.C. State player Levi Watkins as an administrative assistant. Strickland was the Big South Coach of the Year in 1999-2000 with a 10-18 record overall, and has also served as an assistant at Dayton, VMI, and Old Dominion. Watkins left the school briefly to join former Wolfpack coach Herb Sendek at Arizona State. Strickland, Lowe, and new director of basketball operations Quentin Jackson all played for the famed high school coach Morgan Wootten at DeMatha High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. [6/09/06]
