Ducks Say Farewell to Johnson: Oregon head coach Ernie Kent has announced that Ivan Johnson’s scholarship will not be renewed for the 2006-07 season. Johnson, who averaged 7.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in 16 minutes of action per game in his only season, had been held out of five separate games as punishment for comments or actions against teammates or the coaching staff. Kent stated that he would assist Johnson if he desired to transfer to another institution. Johnson joins Kenny Love as migrating Ducks, as Love transferred to D-II Southern Indiana. [6/09/06]
