St. Bonaventure Adds New Assistant: Andy Johnston has been named an assistant coach for St. Bonaventure, head coach Anthony Solomon announced. Johnston brings 18 years of experience in college basketball to St. Bonaventure. He spent the past four years at Long Island-Brooklyn, where he was promoted to associate head coach before the 2005-06 season. Johnston was involved in all aspects of that program under head coach Jim Ferry, who was the 2004-05 Northeast Conference Coach of the Year. Johnston has also been an assistant coach at Youngstown State, Army, Drexel and New Hampshire and spent four seasons as the head coach at American International. [6/13/06]
