Barros Resigns: Northeastern assistant coach Dana Barros resigned to accept a position as the Director of Recreation for the city of Boston, working directly for Mayor Thomas Menino. A native of Boston, Barros played at Boston College before a 14-year NBA career that included six years with the Boston Celtics. The Huskies will not hire an assistant to replace him until after the July recruiting period. [6/29/06]
