Aldridge Becomes Top NCAA Player in Draft, Maybe: After weeks of speculation, the Toronto Raptors stuck to their word and drafted Italy’s Andrea Bargnani with the first pick in last night’s NBA Draft. Immediately following Bargnani, former Texas forward LaMarcus Aldridge became the first NCAA player picked in the draft when the Chicago Bulls selected him. But in a night featuring more than a dozen trades, Aldridge quickly moved to another team — the Portland TrailBlazers.
