Cathlin’s Career Is Over: Chris Cathlin, a fourth-year forward at James Madi-son, must end his career because of medical problems. Cathlin had back surgery June 12. He has played the past three seasons for the Dukes, starting 21 games and averag-ing about four points and three rebounds per game. Cathlin will remain at James Madi-son under the NCAA’s medical disqualification designation. Coach Dean Keener prom-ised that the university would continue to support Cathlin. [7/01/06]
