Jackson State Guard Freed on Bond: Jackson State’s Charlie White was freed on a $10,000 bond after being arrested by campus police Sept. 23 on weapons charges. White, a junior starting point guard, was charged with possession of a weapon on an educational property and exhibiting the weapon in a threatening manner. Tigers coach Teverster Anderson would not comment on whether White would remain on the team.
