Police Charge Two in Duquesne Shooting: Prosecutors charged two additional suspects in the Duquesne basketball shooting but dropped the charges on one of the two men who was arrested earlier in the case. All charges were dropped against Brandon Baynes. Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala said Baynes was cleared after a witness recanted her story. The witness would not be identified.
Derek Lee and Erica R. Sager were the two additional suspects charged in the Sept. 17 shooting after an on-campus dance party. Lee is accused of shooting at the players. He is charged with five counts, each of homicide and aggravated assault. Sager is accused of urging Lee and another teen named William Holmes to shoot the victims. She was charged with five counts of aggravated assault and criminal solicitation.
