Ruptured Blood Vessel Caused Rocket’s Death: Toledo center Haris Charalambous died because of a ruptured blood vessel near his heart. Medical professionals say they need more time to figure out what caused the blood vessel to burst.The vessel filled the area near the heart with blood, causing enough pressure to stop the heart. Trainers performed CPR, and the team rushed to summon emergency workers, but they could not resuscitate Charalambous, who was 21. Toledo held a memorial service for the native of England and will establish an annual scholarship in his name. [10/12/06]
