Carter Goes to Philly Hospital for Medical Consult: T.J. Carter, UNC-Wilmington’s leading scorer this past season, went to Hahnemann Hospital in Philadel-phia on Halloween to have respected specialist Dr. William Meyers examine Carter’s groin. Carter has already had two surgeries as a result of the pain, which slowed him throughout last season. However, Carter played through the pain and was able to lead the Seahawks to the CAA Tourney Championship and the NCAA Tournament. [11/01/06]
