Oklahoma Sharpshooter Will Miss First Two: Oklahoma senior guard Michael Neal must watch from the sidelines when the Sooners open the season against Norfolk State and Liberty. Oklahoma reported that Neal will miss the two games because he violated NCAA policies by participating in a summer league that is more than 100 miles from his home. Neal is the Sooners’ leading returning scorer. He averaged 12.4 points per game last season, and he led the conference in three-point shooting, hitting 49 percent of his shots from behind the line.
