Cal Loses the Big Wilkes: California sophomore center Jordan Wilkes will miss the entire season after partially tearing his patella tendon during practice. Wilkes is a 7-footer for the Bears and one of two Wilkes on the team. His brother, Omar Wilkes, is a 6-4 junior guard. The big Wilkes averaged 2.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game last season and figured to be the team’s sixth man this season. [11/13/06]
