Kentucky Loses 7-2 Center: Jared Carter, a 7-2 center for Kentucky, will undergo season-ending surgery after aggravating his injured right shoulder Thursday morning at practice. The sophomore dislocated his shoulder in mid-November and reinjured it in a 5-on-5 drill while battling for a rebound. He will seek a medical redshirt for this season and is expected to fully recover from the surgery in six months. [12/07/06]
