Mourning Davidson Withdraws: Alabama center Jermareo Davidson has withdrawn from his fall semester classes, right before finals. Davidson’s girlfriend died in November after the two were involved in a car accident, which forced him to miss many classes. Coach Mark Gottfried said he believes Davidson will be “fully reinstated in the next few days.” Once finals are complete, the Crimson Tide center will be eligible for reinstatement. Davidson averages 14.9 points, 10.6 rebounds and 4.1 blocked shots per game. [12/10/06]
