Gators’ Brewer Beats Mono: Florida received good news that team doctors have cleared forward Corey Brewer to play in Sunday night’s game against Florida A&M. The 6-9 forward missed three games for the Gators with mononucleosis but has bounced back quickly. Brewer is averaging 11.7 points and 3.6 assists per game in his short season, but he is now ready to help the Gators compete for another national title. [12/13/06]
