Alabama Center Davidson Back with Crimson Tide: Senior center Jermareo Davidson rejoined the Alabama basketball team five days after withdrawing from fall semester classes under an NCAA and SEC rule. The rule allows an athlete to withdraw from classes under tragic circumstances. Davidson’s girlfriend died Nov. 12 in an automobile accident and his brother, who was also in the vehicle, was critically injured and remains hospitalized. Davidson is averaging 14.9 points and 10.6 rebounds per game in seven games. [12/14/06]
