Former Bearcat Killed in Home Invasion: While breaking into a home in Springfield, Ohio, former Cincinnati guard Jonathon Carson was shot and killed by one of the homeowners. Carson was a standout at South High School in Springfield before playing 17 games for Cincinnati during the 1997-98 season. Carson was with one other armed man during the break-in who was also shot but is in fair condition at a local hospital. [12/14/06]
