Odom Receives Two-Year Extension, NIT Sixpeat Now Possible: After back-to-back NIT championships, South Carolina has given coach Dave Odom a two-year extension. The new deal should keep Odom in charge of the Gamecocks until the 2009-2010 season. Odom is one of only two coaches to have four seasons of 20-plus wins at South Carolina, but he has only led them to one NCAA appearance in six years. [1/08/07]
