What’s an Appendix Good for Anyways?: Even though he had an emergency appendectomy to remove his appendix yesterday, Baylor coach Scott Drew will be on the sidelines tonight in Waco when the Bears host Kansas. Drew’s Bears are 11-7 in his fourth season as the team’s coach. The coach’s determination to give his best effort against the Jayhawks less than 36 hours after surgery may be an excellent motivational tactic to get his team to rise to the challenge against one of the Big 12 favorites.
