Gonzaga’s Heytvelt Faces Felony Drug Charge: Suspended Gonzaga center Josh Heytvelt is being charged with a felony possession of a controlled substance after an ounce of mushrooms were found in his vehicle. If convicted, Heytvelt may face as many as five years in prison with a $10,000 fine. Redshirt freshman teammate Theo Davis will face a lesser misdemeanor charge after police found only a partial marijuana cigarette in his pocket. Both players are suspended from the team indefinitely, and university disciplinary action will wait until the legal proceedings are complete. [2/21/07]
