Mid-Continent Conference Semifinals: No. 1 Oral Roberts scored the first 11 points of the game, and No. 4 IUPUI missed its first 11 field goals to set the tone in a 75-54 win for the Golden Eagles. Oral Roberts (22-10) will make their second straight trip to the championship game, led by Caleb Green’s 25 points and 14 points and eight rebounds from Shawn King. The Jaguars (15-15), who shot just 19 percent from the field in the first half, were led by David Barlow’s 16 points.

The Golden Eagles will take on No. 2 Oakland, which battled back from a 12-point second half deficit and made the plays in the final minute for an 83-79 win over No. 6 UMKC. The Kangaroos led the entire way until over eight minutes into the second half, and had a 76-74 lead with under a minute and a half before the Grizzlies scored the next seven points to take the lead and seal it. Derick Nelson scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead five players in double figures for the Grizzlies (19-13), who shot over 61 percent in the second half. UMKC (12-20) also had five players in double figures and was led by Quinton Day with 17 points and seven assists in his final collegiate game. [3/05/07]
