Georgia: Bulldogs Give Coach Raise and Extension Through 2011

Bulldogs Give Coach Raise and Extension Through 2011: Georgia has given coach Dennis Felton a two-year contract extension and a small raise. Felton’s new deal will extend his contract through 2011 and pay him $760,000 annually. The Bulldogs, 58-62 through four years under Felton, finished 19-14 overall and 8-8 in SEC play this season – their best since 2003 when they went 19-8. Georgia has improved every year of Felton’s tenure. They were 8-20 two seasons ago and 15-15 last year. The Bulldogs will have three returning starters next season. [4/01/07]
