Gillispie Gets New Contract at Texas A&M: Billy Gillispie was given a new contract by Texas A&M — but he has not signed it. The contract, which was approved by Texas A&M’s Board of Regents, gave Gillispie a $500,000 raise to $1.75 million a year. That sum is less than Rick Barnes’ yearly total at Texas but is more than Bill Self’s salary at Kansas. Gillispie has a 100-58 in five years at Texas A&M. [4/01/07]
