Rice: Rice Sophomore Guard Stabbed to Death

Rice Sophomore Guard Stabbed to Death: Rice guard Jonathan Bailey was stabbed to death after he was involved in a fight outside a College Station, Texas, bar. Bailey and his twin brother, Janson, were taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in nearby Bryan after the altercation in which both were stabbed multiple times. Janson was listed in fair condition, but his brother didn’t make it. Ronald Andrew Johnson Jr., of College Station, was charged with the murder of Bailey later that day. The sophomore, who had turned 22 last week, played only 10 minutes in four games this season. [4/13/07]
