Yellow Jackets May Lose Point: Georgia Tech point guard Javaris Crittenton will follow Yellow Jacket teammate Thaddeus Young’s steps and test the NBA draft waters. The 6-5 Crittenton, a freshman, averaged 14.4 points per game and ranked second in assists in the ACC at 5.7 per game. He and Young, who declared himself eligible a day earlier, helped the Yellow Jackets to a 20-12 record and an NCAA tournament appearance. Both players do not plan to hire agents, which gives them the option to withdraw from the draft before the June 18 deadline. [5/02/07]
