Former Deacon Picks Colorado: Freshman forward Casey Crawford will transfer from Wake Forest to Colorado, sit out the 2007-08 season and have three years of eligibility remaining thereafter, according to a Chicago Tribune report. The 6-9 Crawford decided to transfer after only getting 27 minutes of playing time with the Demon Deacons last season. He had narrowed down his options to Northwestern and Colorado, and he chose the latter. The former three-star prospect coming out of Overland Park, Kan., Blue Valley North appeared in nine games for Wake Forest and had a total of 10 points, four rebounds, four assists and two blocks.
