Coble Puts Family First: Northwestern sophomore forward Kevin Coble will leave the team temporarily to attend to his mother in Phoenix, who needs treatment for breast cancer. Coble thanked his team and the university for respecting his decision to care for his mother and miss time. He led the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding at 13.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game last season. Coach Bill Carmody said Coble is welcome to return whenever he is ready. [10/15/07]
