Longhorns Lose Some Backcourt Depth: Texas freshman guard Dogus Balbay is out indefinitely after injuring his knee in a pickup game. He will have surgery today to repair his right knee, and doctors do not know yet when he will be available. Balbay is one of the Longhorns’ top recruits and would have provided valuable rest to starting point guard D.J. Augustin. [10/30/07]
