Olson Steps Away for a Bit: Arizona coach Lute Olson has taken a leave of asbence to handle a personal matter. Olson did not specify the reasons for his temporary departure but said he’ll return soon. In the meantime, assistant coach Kevin O’Neill will lead the team. O’Neill reassured fans that Olson, 73, will be back. The break does not involve the coach’s health. In 34 seasons as a head coach, Olson has won 780 games. Arizona opens the season Nov. 13 against Northern Arizona. [11/05/07]
