Devendorf Tears ACL: Syracuse junior guard Eric Devendorf will miss the rest of the season after tearing his left ACL Saturday in the Orange’s 125-75 win against East Tennessee State. Devendorf landed awkwardly after leading a fast break, and tests Sunday determined the severity of the injury. Devendorf is Syracuse’s second-leading scorer, averaging 17 points per game. The Orange had been using an eight-man lineup with Devendorf, and they will now rely and a bunch of freshmen and sophomores to carry the team. [12/17/07]
