Beilein Dismisses Junior Wolverine: Michigan coach John Beilein has dismissed junior guard Jerret Smith because he did not satisfy team expectations. Beilein said the team was evaluating Smith for a month and decided the Wolverines needed to move forward without Smith. The junior averaged 4.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in his career at Michigan. [12/29/07]
