Detroit-Mercy Coach to Take Indefinite Medical Leave: Perry Watson, Detroit-Mercy’s coach, is taking an indefinite leave of absence for medical reasons. Kevin Mondro, the team’s associate head coach, will take over the lead position. In 15 seasons at Detroit-Mercy, Watson has 10 winning seasons and has led the team to four post-season appearances.
