UCLA Fans Formally Asked to Leave Coach in Peace: UCLA fans have been asked to not disturb former coach John Wooden during home basketball games. Wooden, 97, sits behind the Bruins’ bench and is usually asked for his autograph by countless fans. The request to leave him alone was brought forward Wednesday at the request of Wooden’s family. The former coach is usually escorted by his daughter and a security guard.
