Crews Get the OK to Play: Medical professionals have cleared Tennessee sophomore forward Duke Crews to play after he was forced to cease all physical activity because of a heart condition. Free EKGs given to all Volunteer players revealed the condition, and Tennessee’s medical staff has been actively monitoring the condition since December. Crews played eight games and averaged 6.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game before he was forced to sit. Coach Bruce Pearl said Crews need to work to get back in shape to play after doing little activity for more than a month. [1/19/08]
