Tigers’ Injuries Mount: Clemson freshman guard Demontez Stitt will miss two weeks after tearing cartilage in his knee during practice. He had arthroscopic surgery Thursday to repair the damaged knee. Stitt has started every Tiger game this season and averages 8.9 points and 3.1 assists per game. He joins sophomore forward Trevor Booker on the injured list. Booker sprained his ankle in Clemson’s loss at Miami and is questionable for Saturday’s game against Boston College. [2/01/08]
