Merritt’s Season Ends: Michigan senior guard David Merritt will not play again this season after tearing a ligament in his left knee in the Wolverines’ 80-70 victory against Ohio State. Merritt had his best game of his career against the Buckeyes, scoring seven points and dishing out four assists. He is a former walk-on player and averages 1.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game this season. [2/20/08]
