Kentucky Faces Major Setback: Kentucky freshman forward Patrick Patterson will miss the remainder of the season with a stress fracture in his left foot. X-rays revealed the injury that will require a lengthy recovery time. Patterson averages 16.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game and has helped put the Wildcats in NCAA Tournament contention after a dismal start to the season. Kentucky is near the top of the SEC standings but probably needs to win a few more games to overcome losses to Gardner-Webb and San Diego in Lexington. [3/01/08]
