James Awaits Shoulder Results: Duquesne junior forward Shawn James will undergo tests to determine if he needs surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right shoulder. James injured the shoulder in the Dukes’ 89-82 loss at Charlotte Sunday. James is one of the most productive defensive players in the country, averaging more than four points per game. He also averages 13.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Before transferring to Duquesne, James injured the shoulder while he was at Northeastern. He will try to play through the injury unless specialists determine that he could further injure it. [3/04/08]
