Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Championship: A year after a heart-breaking loss in the same game, No. 1 Austin Peay took home the Ohio Valley Conference title with an 82-64 win over No. 6 Tennessee State. For the second year in a row, the Governors (24-10) won the regular season title, and this time they followed it up with a game that was never in doubt after the first few minutes of the second half. Austin Peay shot nearly 52 percent from the field, including a 9-of-15 mark from long range, and held the Tigers below 37 percent. Tournament MVP Todd Babington led four Governors in double figures with 24 points and five rebounds, going 6-of-8 from long range. Jerrell Houston had 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead Tennessee State (15-17). [3/08/08]
