Summit League Tournament Quarterfinals: No. 5 IPFW earned a spot in the semifinals against No. 1 Oral Roberts with a 66-62 win against No. 4 Southern Utah. The Mastodons hit seven three-pointers to the Thunderbirds’ two, fueling a comeback win. Senior swingman David Carson led IPFW with 17 points. No. 3 Oakland beat No. 6 Western Illinois 80-66 to move into the semifinals against No. 2 IUPUI. Junior guard Erik Kangas led the Golden Grizzlies with 26 points, including 8-of-8 from the free throw line. Oakland lived at the free throw line all night, making 35-of-55 attempts.
