Patriot League Tournament Semifinals: No. 1 American is one win away from making its first NCAA Tournament appearance in school history. Junior guard Garrison Carr led the Eagles with 23 points to help American beat No. 5 Army 72-60. The Eagles built a 17-point second-half lead then held off the Black Knights after they cut the deficit to four. American will play No. 3 Colgate for the Patriot League championship Friday. The Raiders advanced to the final after beating No. 7 Bucknell 54-40. The Raiders held the Bison to 10 first-half points, building a 27-10 halftime lead.
