Colonial Athletic Association Tournament Championship: George Mason is headed back to the NCAA Tournament, as the Patriots took home the CAA championship with a 68-59 victory over William & Mary. The Patriots, who entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed, did it with defense again as the Tribe never really got untracked save for senior Laimis Kisielius, who was about the only player making shots for them in the first half as they shot just 37 percent from the field. In the second half, the Patriots opened a double-digit lead several times, and although the Tribe fought back, they never got closer than about striking distance. George Mason was led by two seniors who were stalwarts on their Final Four team two years ago, as tournament MVP Folarin Campbell scored 20 points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out four assists, while Will Thomas had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Kisielius scored 22 points to lead the Tribe in his last college game. [3/10/08]
