Summit League Tournament Semifinals: No. 1 Oral Roberts needed a big second half to overcome a seven-point halftime deficit against No. 5 IPFW and win 58-42. Senior center Shawn King delivered a double-double for the Golden Eagles with 10 points and 11 rebounds, and junior guard Robert Jarvis led the team with 19 points off the bench. He hit all three of Oral Roberts’ three-pointers.
Junior guard George Hill was unstoppable for No. 2 IUPUI, finishing with 32 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and two steals. He led the Jaguars to an 80-65 victory against No. 3 Oakland. IUPUI’s solid defense held the Golden Grizzlies to 36.1 percent shooting from the field, while the Jaguars shot better than 50 percent. [3/10/08]
