Big Sky Conference Tournament Semifinals: No. 2 Northern Arizona held off No. 3 Weber State 75-70 to move into the Big Sky Conference Tournament championship game. The Lumberjacks and Wildcats traded runs in the first half then remained close throughout the second half. Senior forward Kyle Landry led Northern Arizona with 21 points and seven rebounds, including two big baskets in the final minutes to help the Lumberjacks pull away. Northern Arizona will play No. 1 Portland State in the championship game. The Vikings beat No. 4 Idaho State 72-61 in the other semifinal match up. Senior guard Deonte Huff led Portland State with 20 points. After extending a five-point lead to double digits early in the second half, the Bengals came no closer than nine points the rest of the way. [3/11/08]
