Sophomore forward Jeremy Evans led three Hilltoppers in double figures with 20. He added 14 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Western Kentucky protected its lead by hitting 25-of-29 free throws in the game. With Western Kentucky in the tournament, South Alabama, the conference’s regular-season winner, must wait until Selection Sunday to see if the Jaguars will make the field as an at-large team.
