Southeastern Conference: SEC Tournament Update

SEC Tournament Update: After the inclement weather led to damage to the Georgia Dome and the postponement of the last quarterfinal game on Friday night, the Southeastern Conference announced a change in the remaining schedule of games in the tournament. Athletic directors of the schools agreed on the change, which includes moving the remaining games to the Alexander Memorial Coliseum on the campus of Georgia Tech. Because of public safety concerns, access to the remaining games will be limited to student-athletes’ family members, cheerleaders, bands, media and staff.

The remaining schedule of games is as follows:

Saturday, March 15, 2008
Georgia vs. Kentucky – Noon ET
Tennessee vs. Arkansas – 6 p.m. ET
Mississippi State vs. Georgia/Kentucky winner – 8:30 p.m. ET

Sunday, March 16, 2008
SEC Championship game – 3 p.m. ET [3/15/08]
